You'll have VIP access to Mish, MarketGauge support and the MUTP community via the private Facebook group called "Mish's Ultimate Trading Program".
You can also get answers to your account and trading questions via:
Welcome to Mish’s Ultimate Trading Program. This guide will give you an overview of all the components of your new program and suggest how to progress through them.
Experienced traders will be able to move through the steps and materials more quickly, but everyone should be able to use this guide to get the most out of this program most efficiently
Each list item above is a clickable link for quick access to each page.
If you are brand new to trading, you may find it helpful to wait until you have reviewed some of the course material before you elect to receive text alerts. Even without the text alerts, you can also follow the trading activity by reading the daily “Trading Ideas” summary in the email and in the (Mentoring) tab.
Don’t worry; this program will walk you through how to get all three!
The course videos teach how to set up your trading platform and the foundations of Mish’s Trading Strategy.
Week 1 (Fundamentals & Account Setup) will take you through key information, account setup, placing orders, and introduce you to Mish’s Economic Modern Family, which offers a great way to get an overall sense of the markets current and long-term direction.
Week 2 (Chart Reading & Mega-Trends) adds more depth to reading charts, along with how to find trades using mega-trends and consumer instinct. Next, Mish goes into market phases, a great way to filter through stocks giving you an understanding of a stock’s current buying or selling cycle.
Week 3 (Big View, Earnings Reports & The Economic Calendar) introduces the Big View section of the website including common misconceptions of investing styles and high-level ideas in order to find overall market trends and pivot points. To find Big View, log onto MarketGauge.com then click the (Tools) tab at the top of the webpage.
Week 4 (Real Motion & Favorite Chart Patterns) dives straight into MarketGauge’s proprietary indicator Real Motion. This is a trend strength indicator developed to show otherwise unseen shifts in underlying momentum. Changes in momentum as measured by Real Motion are often a leading indicator for changes in price trends. You will also learn Mish’s favorite chart patterns which are the basis for most of her trades.
Week 5 (Opening Range, Psychology, Indicators & Position Sizing) will focus on psychology, using and setting up indicators in separate time frames, entering trades using the Opening Range, and how to correctly position sizing your trades to manage risk.
Week 6 (Live-Putting it All Together) brings you through 10 consecutive days of trading showing Mish’s thought process as she uses information covered in the course to view the market and place new, and manage existing, trades.
This video will give you a general idea of how Mish manages her trades so you’ll see the steps from start to finish.
**If you are new to trading or MarketGauge, you will discover that trading has quite a few “industry terms and abbreviations” **
In addition to watching this video, we recommend you get familiar with the MarketGauge Glossary (especially the “MarketGauge Abbreviations” section).
A key element for success is connecting the course material with Mish’s process.
The best way to follow and learn Mish’s process is to:
Our philosophy is to earn as you learn!
Trading is a journey or a process.
As you follow the steps above, you will become increasingly more proficient and comfortable following Mish’s trade alerts.
Over time, you’ll be able to execute your version of Mish’s process as your own.
Remember that trading takes time and patience to learn.
Mish and the whole MarketGauge team will be with you through every step of the process.
I just joined MUTP; what do I do with Mish’s existing positions?
Positions that have substantial profits are best not to enter. Newer positions that are either under or close to their original entry price can entered. However, use original entry and original stop for position sizing. Enter any new alerts once you feel ready.
How do I talk to Mish?
Mish’s Twitter is @MarketMinute for the fastest way to reach her. You can also use email ([email protected]), live chat with Mary, or the private Facebook page.
Is the live in the market session recorded?
Yes, although we advise you to join each Thursday as you are learning the strategies.
What is the 30 Minute OR (Opening Range) Rule?
The first 30 minutes of the market open often sets the trading range of an instrument for the entire day.
We cancel our sell stops (not targets) for the first 30 minutes as once the trading range for the day is established, we have a guideline for resetting those sell stops.
Should an instrument break below the first 30 minutes trading range, we will exit around the breakdown price area.
Mish will send you a new stop on any positions in the portfolio right after the 30 minute OR time is up.
How do the Scanners work?
When an instrument changes phases, you will see it updated on the scanner with a highlight. However, you will not see it the next day as it is only meant to alert you the day of the phase change.
How many new positions per week can I expect?
Mish will provide 1 to 5 new trades per week depending on market conditions.
How many total positions can I expect to have at one time?
This is completely up to you. Depending on market conditions and the amount of risk we have on, we like to have no more than 20.
Is there ever an interruption to the service?
No, we have you covered. When Mish takes a break Forrest Crist and Geoff Bysshe take over.
Do I have to use TradeStation?
No. Although that is the platform we use, many other platforms are perfectly okay.
Can I trade Mish’s picks even if she does not send an alert?
Of course, as she gives you entries, stops, and targets. If you have any questions on those picks, please reach out.
Can I trade Mish’s picks using options?
Yes. In fact, with the entries stops and targets, it makes it easy to convert that information into options. However, we recommend you understand the factors that impact how an option’s price changes (i.e. delta, theta, and implied volatility)
